و بر مزار رسول خدا (ص)، هنگام به خاک سپردن او گفت: همانا شکیبایی زیباست جز درغم از دست دادن تو و همانا بی‌تابی زشت است مگر در فقدان تو و مصیبت فقدان تو بزرگ است و هر مصیبتى پیش از تو و بعد از تو در برابر آن کوچک و حقیر است.
