About hadith gradings

On hadith detail pages you may see a grade (e.g. Sahih, Hasan). These grades are provided by external sources — the scholars and curators behind the collections in our library. They are scholarly opinions about the strength or authenticity of a narration, not rulings issued by HaqqBase.

HaqqBase does not endorse any particular grading. We display grades to help you locate and compare traditional assessments. For study and research, treat them as one input among many. For questions about authenticity, interpretation, or how to act on a hadith, please consult qualified scholars or experts in hadith and Islamic law.

Non-specialists are encouraged to take gradings as an aid to learning rather than as final verdicts. Different scholars may assess the same narration differently; context and other evidence matter.
