امام به یکى از افراد که در حضورش سخن نامناسب و کوچکى گفت فرمود: پر در نیاورده پرواز کردی و به خردسالی آواز بزرگان سردادی. سید رضی می‌گوید: منظور از «شکیر» در اینجا نخستین پرهائى است که بر بال پرنده می‌روید پیش از آنکه قوى و محکم شود و «سقب» شتر نابالغ است، و شتر معمولا پیش از رسیدن به بلوغ، آن فریاد مخصوص را سر نمی‌دهد.
