اى مردم از خدا بترسید! بسا آرزومندی که به آرزویش نمی‌رسد و بسا سازندگانی که در آنچه ساخته‌اند سکونت نمی‌کنند و بسا گردآورنده‌ای که زود آن را رها خواهد کرد و شاید آنرا از طریق باطل گرد آورده باشد یا حق دیگران را بازداشته است یا از حرام به دست آورده باشد که گناهش بر گردن اوست پس با بار گناه (به آخرت) باز می‌گردد و در (پیشگاه) خداوند با پشیمانی و دریغ وارد می‌شود «هم دنیا را از دست داده و هم آخرت را و این است زیان آشکار.» (سوره حج، آیه ۱۱).
