نامه ۷۷-به عبدالله بن عباس روش مناظره با دشمن مسلمان به قرآن با خوارج به جدل مپرداز، زیرا قرآن دارای دیدگاه کلی بوده، و تفسیرهای گوناگونی دارد، تو چیزی می‌گویی، و آن‌ها چیز دیگر، لکن با سنت پیامبر (ص) با آنان به بحث و گفتگو بپرداز، که در برابر آن راهی جز پذیرش ندارند.
